Along Whitefriargate is the link from the centre of Hull to the Old Town. At the end of Whitefriargate (named from the colour of the habits the monks wore who lived here from 1293) is the indoor market where you can purchase a wide variety of fresh food and flowers.
Bag yourself a bargain from a selection of High Street and independent retailers at Hornsea Freeport; an attractive and easily accessed shopping village with children’s play areas, great places to eat and free parking.
