Great for children, Little Monkeys in Hull offers indoor soft play as a great way to give children the opportunity to burn off some energy especially on those rainy days! Lots of climbing areas, swings, slides and ball pools. There is also a cafè for Mum’s and Dad’s!

Visit The Deep, one of the most amazing aquariums in the world. It is home to over 3,500 fish,sharks and rays. Different exhibitions around the aquarium show the different marine environments and the species of marine life that live within them.

An absolutely fab day out for those with children. Open from March through to September, Honeysuckle Farm is a great opportunity for children to see farm animals up close, and sometimes with babies! Shire cart rides, milking demonstrations, straw play barn, outdoor play paddock and a picnic area.

At 130 acres of parkland, East Park is Hull’s largest park and was opened in 1887 to celebrate Queen Victoria’s Golden Jubilee. There is a little something for everyone at the park. Whether you just want a stroll around the parkland, or to visit the menagerie of animals at the Animal Educational Centre or scenic place for a coffee in the cafè.

In 1913 Thomas Ferens gifted the land to build a 16 acre boating lake. It was constructed by unemployed locals after the 1st World War and is now a haven to wildlife, boaters and anglers alike. During the summer months, a Splash boat is operated on the lake. This is one of only three in England and has been on the lake since 1929.
